1. Employees are exposed to COVID because the employer does not take effective measures to prevent the spread of the disease. A laundry employee was recently (3 weeks ago) confirmed to have COVID. The employer did not disinfect the area where the employee worked and did not quarantine or test employees that had worked closely with the employee. At least one employee had close (less than 6 feet) contact with this employee without using a face covering. Additionally, housekeeping employees clean rooms and common areas with a variety of cleaners that may not be adequate for COVID. Contrary to Section 5(a)(1) of the OSH Act.Alleged Hazards: 1, Employees Exposed: 20
