Nordstrom's at Short Hills is not protecting its employees from getting sick with Covid-19, that exposes them and possibly vulnerable family members. Specifically, 1 - There was a recent employee who tested positive for Covid-19 and quarantined. However this employee worked with and near other employees and may have transmitted the virus to them. However, the employer never determined who this positive employee worked with or near, and did not communicate the information and hazard to the other employees. 2 - The employer does not follow up with or require employees who have close contact with other positive employees to determine if they should quarantine. 3- The areas where known positive employees have worked are not sanitized or disinfected according to cdc guidelines with EPA approved virucides to prevent touch or hand transmission of the Covid-19 virus. In addition, 4 - The employee restrooms have not been cleaned in weeks, human waste is a disease vector and can make employees sick.
