1. An employee came to work with covid symptoms on November 7th and was allowed to work. This employee later tested positive for Covid. 2. The sick employee's work station was not adequately sanitized after this employee was finally sent home. The facility uses Rescue for general veterinary disinfection, however Rescue H202 is not on the EPA approved list of sanitizers for Coronavirus. 3. Social distancing is recommended but not being enforced in the workplace. 4. Employees are asked to self monitor temperatures and symptoms, but this also is not being enforced. There are employees coming into the workplace without self evaluating for temperature or symptoms. 5. The employer has not performed a hazard assessment and created a covid protection plan specific to this workplace, based on the job task and controls and PPE required. 6. Eye protection is not provided or required for any job tasks. 7. The employer directed the employees to get Covid tests through the employee's own health insurance as part of the employer's covid protection measures. However, the employer has not yet reimbursed the employees for the balance and time of taking those tests.
