Covid-19 OSHA Complaint, KILLER BURGER, 616 Ne 81st St Ste F, VANCOUVER, WA, 98665, USA

616 Northeast 81st Street, Vancouver, 98665 Washington, United States

At Killer Burger there is no Covid-19 policy, or Covid-19 training for employees. High touch areas such as the tablet and the time clock are not sanitized, and the restrooms are not cleaned. Social distancing measures are not taken seriously or enforced, such as the 6- barriers at the register and the building occupancy. Pre shift health screening questions are not thorough, and sometimes skipped all together. An employee tested positive for Covid-19, and no actions were taken by the employer. No contact tracing, no deep cleaning, etc. Employees are not required to stay home or quarantine when symptomatic or exposed to possible Covid-19. Employees come to work sick. There have not been any safety meetings held since June of 2019, when meetings are required monthly at the minimum. Restaurant equipment such as gas, electric grills, and fryers are occasionally left on overnight and hot when the openers need to come in to clean them, or change out the contents. Leaving the building smelling strongly of gas in the mornings. The owner has not addressed any of the safety concerns when that happens with the closers. We have not had a fire drill in almost 2 years, and there has been no additional training to the staff as required by law. There are no accident reports on site, and leaders have not been shown how to report an accident, or how to deal with an injury onsite. There is not a no workplace violence policy. There is an employee that acts aggressive and throws things. There is no general safety policy or code of conduct posted, or otherwise disclosed for reference purposes.
