An employee was recently notified that her child was sick and had to be picked up due to it being suspected that the child had COVID-19. The employer was notified and the employee was told that she could not miss any work. The employee left and picked up her child and was told to bring the child to the salon. The child was in the salon while other employees and clients were there and the next day, the doctor confirmed that the child was positive for the COVID-19 Delta variant.
