Indoor air quality testing was done at Franklin High School on March 9, in preparation for returning to school. Seattle Education Association requested and received a copy of the HVAC assessment on March 26. The assessment only include test results for eleven rooms. The majority of work spaces and common areas either were not tested or the data was withheld. Results indicate that the HVAC system is failing to supply adequate outside air in some rooms (either insufficient supply or no HVAC connection at all). CO2 measurements appear to have been taken with no occupants which does not reflect future occupancy conditions for classrooms. Seven portable HEPA filters have been provided but these rooms have not been retested.
