T8CCR 5199 Not following CDC guidelines regarding employees who have been infected returning to work nor training provided to staff to proper conduct - Not properly testing the rooms for microbes as noted in their Power of Clean Program. Patient and Staff endangerment. No proper training to the new employees of Personal Protective Equipment and Infectious Room. One New employee went to an infectious without the proper Personal Protective Equipment. Employee not trained in PPE with the concept, science and application. Training of PPE is done during orientation which the new employee has not attended. No manager training on infection safety protocols. The EVS workers are being assigned to clean areas without notification of the type of infection nor potential risk. No training regarding isolation rooms - how are they safe? The difference of negative and positive pressure? Backup Isolation rooms not being tested daily. How are the new isolation rooms safe when it is just plastic and duct tape to be seal as a door? No record if the duct tape or plastic have been maintained? In "1 Central" - Managers have been notified the wooden panel is blocking the exhaust affecting the negative pressure for airborne infections. 1 Central, 3rd & 4th Floors, Emergency Room, Sinatra
