The employer is not implementing precautions to protect employees from contracting and spreading the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the workplace: a) The wearing of face masks/covering by employees is not required or enforced. b) After several employees have tested positive, employees were not notified in accordance with §16VAC25-220. c) Employees do not have access to adequate cleaning supplies and disinfectant. d) Employees do not have access to personal protective equipment (i.e., gloves) or are required to purchase their own without reimbursement. e) Employees that are known or suspected to be infected with COVID are allowed to report to work without proper screening, quarantining or following a Return to Work policy that complies with §16VAC25-220. f) The employer has failed to report COVID positive employees to the Virginia Department of Labor in accordance with §16VAC25-220.
