1. Officers are concerned about covid-19 exposure while working in an area referred to as an "isolation unit" which is a type of administrative segregation unit. The area is not a medical area like the negative flow unit, and it is being used to house 31 confirmed positive covid inmates. 2. The ventilation is shared between the inmates" individual rooms and the main areas. The only separation between the inmate and the main room is a normal door. For comparison, the negative flow unit has two sets of doors. 3. Officers are required to wear N95 respirators and Tyvek suits, but many officers do not wear the masks, and others have difficulty finding Tyveks that fit them. HAZARD LOCATION: The officers work for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department at the Clark County Detention Center, Detention Services Division, in the South Tower Bureau. 07/15/2020 KRAlleged Hazards: 1, Employees Exposed: 1
