Regulatory Report

Covid-19 OSHA Complaint, City of Chicago - People with Disabilities, 121 N LaSalle St., CHICAGO, IL, 60602, USA

4 years ago business

121 North LaSalle Street, Chicago, 60602 Illinois, United States

Use of face coverings are not enforced in common areas. Executive Order 2021-20, effective on August 30, 2021, requires that all individuals in Illinois who are age two or over and able to medically tolerate a face covering (a mask or cloth face covering) shall be required to cover their nose and mouth with a face covering when in an indoor public space. While IL OSHA cannot directly enforce this executive order, the Illinois Occupational Safety and Health Act requires employers to protect employees from recognized hazards that cause or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to its employees (820 ILCS 219/20(a)).
