Regulatory Report

Covid-19 OSHA Complaint, CAMPING WORLD DC, 81 PAGE STREET, FRANKLIN, KY, 42134, USA

4 years ago business

81 Page Drive, Franklin, 42134 Kentucky, United States

1. There are pallets being placed in racks incorrectly being left there. Product being stacked 3-4 pallets high leaning over. 2. They got chemical pallets at the top of the racks near the rough that have fallen to the ground and they let it be spilled for months before they clean it up. 3. Our equipment that we drive has not been fully taught to most (if not all) and as well as the equipment moving while security gates are up. 4. There isn't enough harnesses for those on cherry pickers and most of the people got ones that barely fit them or they haven't been trained on how to use the full body harnesses. 5. Incidences have been reported many times and each time employee's told actions will be taken, but they never fall through. We have people who have had a work injury not reported due to the supervisors expressing why they shouldn't. 6. On the doors coming in and in the updated work documents on safety we are required to wear a mask yet they don't enforce it and discouraged attempts to go get COVID tested if you do find yourself with symptoms. There has been countless people who have left from this job within the last 4 months over the simple fact of us getting in trouble for leaving to go get COVID tested. Those who have been around someone who tested positive for COVID at work or those who conversate during their everyday lives are talked out of getting COVID tested. 7. We have had employees bit by different kinds of spiders and the only thing they tell them is to buy their own gloves instead of issuing us some. 8. It's been noticed that they have been selling things from liquidated pallets to employees here, saying they can give it at discounted prices. 9. Ever since employee has spoke up to them about the workplace safety they have targeted them in ways by having certain employees follow them around and harass them. An incident was reported to them about a particular employee that for a week and a half been constantly going out of their way to make a smart remark or comment, yet all they do is tell them to keep their mouth shut and don't say anything. 10. The main problem is the equipment, we have had a surge of wrecks lately that have been swept under the wrong only a few were reported. Employee as well as others haven't been fully trained in these equipment adequately. This is the first job that doesn't discuss safety meetings or have them. We have a checklist we are supposed to do for equipment that never gets checked, only recently have they done anything to check them only due to the surge in wrecks. However, they bring in mechanics who don't even bring computers necessary to check latency on the lifts due to that being the main problem with them.
