1. The employer failed to provide respiratory protection to employees required to enter COVID-19 case rooms. Employees were provided surgical masks instead of respirators for entering COVID-19 case rooms. T8 CCR 5199(g)(4)(E) 2. The employer failed to provide respirators approved by NIOSH for the purpose for which they are used to employees required to enter COVID-19 case rooms. The employer is only providing employees with new N95 respirators on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays, and is requiring them to don and doff them multiple times and use them over multiple shifts and multiple days at work.
