Affordable Cleaning, employing 31 people at various locations, routinely require employees to perform duties that require them to interact and come into daily contact with infectious waste. Employer does not require or allot any training to allow employees to be familiar with the industry standards that allow for the proper handline and safeguards related to infectious waste. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is not routinely provided by the employer to the emplyee. Establishments, typically medical facilities, which have Affordable Cleaning under contract to perform janitorial services, after hours, have been provideing Affordable Cleaning employees with masks and gloves upon request, subsequent to the COVID-19 outbreak. Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, Affordable Cleaning, did not have established procedures to supply employees with PPE or ensure the use of PPE while performing their assigned duties.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2020-05-13
