Regulatory Report

Covid-19 OSHA Complaint, Allendale Public Schools Transportation, 10775 64th Ave, ALLENDALE, MI, 49401, USA

4 years ago business

10775 64th Avenue, Allendale Charter Township, 49401 Michigan, United States

Hazard Location: School Buses and Bus Garage Transportation is deliberately disregarding COVID-19 protocols and guidelines. They wear masks under their chins while driving, do not sanitize the bus after students get off, congregate in a small breakroom without masks on, do not open windows for air circulation, and do not have students sanitize before or after getting on the bus. They also do not sanitize when in the building. There was a director that followed COVID guidelines but they were harassed out of their job because the drivers did not want to comply. There is a new director that has made the breakroom open again and does not have the drivers comply with any COVID protocols. The seats on the buses are already overcrowded, with the majority being 3 students to a seat. This situation is incredibly unsafe. The buses see more of a variety of students than classrooms and nothing is being done to keep the students safe. The Superintendent and the school board is well aware of the non-compliance and will not do anything to change it.
