Regulatory Report

Covid-19 OSHA Complaint, NWCS, 37 Enterprise Ln, ELMA, WA, 98541, USA

4 years ago business

37 Enterprise Lane, Elma, 98541 Washington, United States

05/04/2020 - Ran out of isopropyl alcohol for cleaning and started using denatured ethanol. They never told anyone and I had to almost interrogate people to get the information for my own safety. The bottles are still labeled as "ISO" which is wrong as the chemical inside the bottle is different. They also have no MSDS for this chemical. Every spray bottle labeled "ISO" throughout the building as well as a pump bottle which is labeled "ISO" but the label is faded so much that it's pretty much unlabeled. 04/30/20 - Thursday April 23rd I was informed a co-worker whom I work closely with called into work with a fever and as of Wednesday April 29th I was informed he was fired for what's called a "no call, no show" - meaning he neither called in nor showed for work. This concerns me as no one said anything about if he was COVID-19 positive or not. This is a lethal issue as he has been exposed to the entire swing shift as well as the weekend shift, myself included. I was told both of these pieces of information even though I was not authorized to receive them, either, as I am not a supervisor and that is supervisory information. 04/27/2020 - No social distancing, employer allows customers and employees to stand next to each other for long periods of time.
