UWMC has not installed Plexiglas barriers in all critics where initial patient screening may occur. These include: Radiology, Surgical Specialties, Otolaryngology/Opthalmology, Cardiology, Neurosurgery, and Pre-anesthesia clinics. Employees who screen/sign in patients are within 6' and patients are not always complying with the mask requirements. Management has told the union that these clinics do not need them because they are not providing initial screening, however, with reduced hours at the main hospital entrances, initial screening may be done at each of these.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2020-12-10
