1. The facility is too hot for maintenance employees to wear proper PPE, such as fire-retardant clothing, bump cap, and face shield/goggles, throughout their shift for the type of work they perform. Employees have expressed concern that this level of personal protective equipment is not needed at all times during their shift and is creating a hazard by being worn when not needed.
