Recently employee #1 (receptionist) tested positive for Covid19, precautions were not taken to return to work safely. Not all employees were notified of possible exposure. The employees that did have direct contact with the Covid positive employee #1 did not quarentine and continued to come to work. One of those employees then tested positive after working for a week. Employee #2 worked a full day as receptionist, interacting with guests and employees and tested positive that evening. The owner continues to work even though she was in direct contact with both employees. The spa was never professionally cleaned between employee #2 working with Covid, and opening to guests the next morning. As employees we were never educated on how to stay safe in the workplace. Nor did we discuss a plan for when another employee tests positive for covid. At a facility such as ours, a healthy mind and body is what we believe in, however we are potentially providing a toxic environment to our guests.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2021-03-26
