300 North Avenue, Battle Creek, 49017 Michigan, United States

There is employee to employee COVID exposure in the endoscopy area at Bronson Battle Creek. Employees all have on surgical masks (not N95) but key components of job entail being closer than 6 feet apart for prolonged periods (significantly more than 15 minutes). When the employee tested positive, close contacts were not notified and the reason given was that masks were worn. This situation probably affected about 10 people that came in close contact for longer than 15 minutes with COVID positive employee during possible contagious period before employee was instructed to stay home. There has also been another employee in this area that has tested positive recently.
