1. At the Edgar Thomson Plant, Union Railroad employees meet at the mill gate at 6AM. The gang of three employees drive in a company truck to their trailer located near the area of the mill where other sub's trailers are located. The gang of three Union Railroad employees and a Union Railroad supervisor have a meeting in the trailer which lasts until 7AM. During the ride in the company truck from the mill gate to the trailer and during the meeting in the trailer, the employees are unable to maintain social distancing in accordance with OSHA and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines potentially exposing the gang of three employees and the supervisor to SARS-CoV-2. 2. On March 22, 2021, one of the Union Railroad employees working on the Edgar Thomson Plant gang tested positive for COVID-19. Two Union Railroad employees working on the Edgar Thomson Plant gang on March 22, 2021 had close contact with the co-worker who tested positive for COVID-19. One of the Union Railroad employees who had close contact with a COVID-19 positive case on March 22, 2021 did not quarantine in accordance with OSHA and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines and continued to work on the Edgar Thomson Plant gang on March 23, March 24, and March 25. The Union Railroad employee who had close contact with a COVID-19 positive case on March 22, 2021 tested positive for COVID-19 on March 25 potentially exposing co-workers who worked on the Edgar Thomson Plant gang on March 23, March 24, and March 25 to SARS-CoV-2.
