The employer failed to implement effective engineering controls, work practice controls, and respiratory protection to minimize employee exposure to COVID-19. On February 25, 2021, a patient was transferred from Building H to Building B before a COVID-19 test result was obtained. Employees did not implement COVID-19 engineering controls, work practice controls , and respiratory protection when treating this patient.
