1. Employees are potentially exposed to health hazards. It was reported that employees have not been provided information about the hazardous chemicals to which they are exposed to and has not made Safety Data Sheets (SDS) available to employees after employees were ill after being exposed to unknown chemicals in the workplace. Employer failed to safeguard employees from a recognized hazard and has not implemented an effective Hazard Communication program. Contrary to 29 CFR 1910.1200 & Section 5(a)(1) of the OSH Act of 1970. 2. Employees are potentially exposed to health hazards associated with chemicals. It was reported that employees were ill after being exposed to disinfectant chemicals. The employer has failed to assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
