Covid-19 OSHA Complaint, Hancock Public Schools, 501 Campus Drive, HANCOCK, MI, 49930, USA

501 Campus Drive, Hancock, 49930 Michigan, United States

'- Students in K-5 are not required to wear masks in classrooms where six feet of separation cannot be maintained. Administration and staff have not worn masks in the school. However, students in 6-12 and all other staff are required to wear masks. - The school has no action plan should teachers or students become sick other than hiring several full-time substitutes for the first two weeks in case a teacher becomes ill. - If a person has symptoms, they are sent home but may return the next day if feeling well without a test. - No temperature checking or covid-19 testing. - A person testing positive is not required to quarantine. - Class sizes are not going to be reduced to less than 20 students because administration believes there is very little risk in the area. - Administration does not plan to close the school due to illness unless enrollment falls below 20%. -K-5 teachers are concerned because they or their spouses and family members have health issues that increase their risk of becoming ill with covid-19.
