The employer is not implementing precautions to protect employees from contracting and spreading the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the workplace: a) The wearing of face masks/covering in the back of the store is not enforced. b) The proper wearing (covering nose and mouth) of face coverings/masks by employees is not enforced. c) Social distancing is not enforced for employees working in the back of the store. d) Administrative and work practice controls are not in place to prescreen or survey employees prior to the commencement of work. Temperature checks occur after employees have begun to work. e) Employees that are known or suspected to be infected with COVID are allowed to report to and remain at work. f) CDC guidelines (i.e., regarding quarantining) are not being enforced when employees have been exposed to COVID positive employees. g) The employer has failed to report COVID positive employees to the Virginia Department of Health and the Virginia Department of Labor in accordance with §16VAC25-220.
