Alleged Hazards:The Bethel School District is forcing its staff and students back to full capacity in a manner unsafe to adhere to the six foot social distancing requirements implemented by the Governor in our self contained classrooms. The Bethel School District announced to the parents / guardians of students that they would roll out a "hybrid model" (half the normal class size )upon returning to class when the COVID restrictions begin to let up. The latest update from the Bethel School District it they will not implement the students hybrid and model staff, in the limiting self exposure contained and classrooms maintaining as social originally distancing announced. will not Given be the possible number as of recommended by the Governor. Staff at Bethel School District feel this is unsafe practice for them and the students and their families. The hazard is not being able to maintain the six foot social distance requirement issued by the Governor.
