1) Employees are potentially exposed to chemical hazards in the workplace. It was reported that the employer has not communicated to employees regarding the type of chemicals and related hazards that employees might be exposed to while at work. Contrary to 29 CRF 1910.1200. 2) Employees are potentially exposed to health hazards associated with mold. It was reported that visible mold is present on the ceiling near the clock-in area, potentially adversely affecting employee health. Contrary to 5(a)(1) of the OSH Act. 3) Employees are potentially exposed to health hazards related to cold stress. It was reported that the facility is not equipped with a sufficient heating system, at times exposing employees to cold temperatures for the entirety of their shifts. Contrary to 5(a)(1) of the OSH Act. 4) Employees are potentially exposed to health hazards associated with COVID-19. It was reported that mask use is not required in the workplace, there are no pre-work health screenings, and there has not been an attempt to implement social distancing.
