1. Food/general supply warehouses -Employees and inmates use fork lifts and other PIT's have not received initial or refresher training. 2. Heat Illness - Employees working outdoors in excessive heat do not have access to water and shade while monitoring three different yards. Inmates carry communicable diseases and the water fountains they use are not sanitized or appropriate for guard use. 3. Covid-19 - Twelve employees are out sick; 5 tested positive for the virus and others await test results. An inmate tested positive for the virus in the special housing unit. The unit has not been disinfected in 6 weeks and employees entering that area have contracted the virus. Employees are not signing in and out of this area and the employer is not contact tracing as required by CDC guidelines. Employees do not receive enough N95's masks (2 per work week) or hand sanitizer. High traffic areas are not being sanitized per the Phase 6 action plan followed by BOP. 4. Respirator Fit Testing - Employees are being fit tested for gas masks. The test mask and the test canister are not being sanitized between each fit test. Employees are exposed to communicable diseases.
