Regulatory Report

Covid-19 OSHA Complaint, Hilltop Lodge Health and Rehabilitation, 815 North Independence Avenue, BELOIT, KS, 67420, USA

5 years ago business

815 North Independence Avenue, Beloit, 67420 Kansas, United States

This nursing home has went from 6 to 37 positive-tested residents in the last 24 hour period. The DOD tested positive for Covid-19 and proceeded to come to work instead of quarantining at home. Multiple care aides/nurses on the Covid-19 wards have tested positive and continue to work on these wards with residents. Washing machines wash both Covid-19 infected laundry as well as laundry of patients who have tested negative. Infected laundry is put in a special dissolvable bag but the washing machine is not hot enough to dissolve the bags. DOD has been made aware and refuses to have it fixed and instructed laundry workers to remove infected laundry from bags manually before putting into the washer.
