This center is not properly enforcing donor mask policy. Donors are frequently permitted to keep their masks below their noses or chin on the donor floor. Donors who comply to Michigan's mask policy have complained. I fielded one such complaint from a Covid-19 convalescent plasma donor. I tried to bring it to the attention of the supervisor, PII, on the evening of 9/14/2020 at 7:30 PM. She pulled down her mask and raised her voice to me when she was standing at less than a six foot distance, stating that if people are afraid of contacting Covid-19, they shouldn't come to our center. I mentioned that our center on Cedar/Jolly Roads in Lansing has much better compliance. They tell donors to put their masks back on. I told her I have been trying to enforce the policy myself when I see donors with their masks down. She asked what I planned to do if donors retaliate against me. It was at that point I realized our supervisor wasn't going to assist in this matter. I was also concerned she wasn't following the company's mask policy herself. If she is an asymptomatic carrier, taking her mask down and yelling at me was potential exposure.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2020-09-15
