On May 2nd, before employees began their shift they were informed that 22 out of the 87 residents present at the site were COVID-19 positive. Upon beginning their shift, an employee was not provided either a N-95 mask or face shield even though they were working directly with positive residents. The employee was only provided a cloth mask, and they were informed that they did not have enough face shields for everyone. However, management was provided N-95 masks. An employee subsequently tested positive from working that day because they were not provided the appropriate personal protective equipment.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2020-05-27
