COVID-19 Protocols not followed The enforcement of the mask mandate has been upheld only by myself. My superior would not enforce it or even wear a mask at first. I brought that issue up to our General Manager at the time , and I have brought it up to our HR manager at least 3 times. Whenever I was off, my employees would complain to me that I was the only one making them wear a mask, despite both my superior and a visiting supervisor filling in. Conditions improved, but there are still many employees coming in without a mask on. Today I was reprimanded for taking Covid-19 too seriously, and was told not to enforce masking compliance. Yesterday was instructed to clean and sanitize a truck from an employee who is now in quarantine for Covid-19. This is not the first time that have been asked to sanitize a truck from someone going out on quarantine leave. Whenever I have brought up the mask mandate and protecting our employees my superior gets visibly frustrated has told me more than once that he is "tired of hearing about Covid". I want to keep my employees safe, but I am being undermined and now told to stop mask enforcement. I don't know where to go from here. My workplace isn't keeping me or my employees safe. I am also afraid of retaliation from my employer, but I can't be quiet any more.
