1. Bronson is not informing employees when a coworker tests positive for COVID-19 within 24 hours (per executive order 161). An employee at the hospital tested positive for COVID-19, and management informed staff several days afterwards only because the coworker allowed the information to be shared. Staff was informed that HR is only informing employees that may have come in contact with this person without a mask. 2. Staff are only allowed to wear N95s during aerosolizing procedures. Nurses, therapists, and other staff who work on the COVID unit are not allowed to wear N95s despite close prolonged contact with patients. They are provided with gown, gloves, paper mask, and eye protection. 3. If a patient is found to be positive for COVID later on in their stay, staff who worked with this patient are not informed of the exposure. HR states that since employees are wearing paper masks at all times that this does not count as an exposure.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2020-08-20
