Regulatory Report

711 U.S. 119, Greensburg, 15601 Pennsylvania, United States

1) Healthcare employees who have shown active symptoms of COVID-19, such as fever, coughing, and loss of senses, were tested by Excella Hospital professionals. The test results were not provided on a timely basis so employees continued to report to work full shifts feeling ill thus exposing other employee and residents to potential infection. 2) The employer is not following CDC's COVID-19 Healthcare Facility Guideline materials which state-"If HCP (Healthcare Professional) are tested and found to be infected with SARS-CoV-2, they should be excluded from work until they meet all Return to Work Criteria. HCP with suspected SARS-CoV-2 infection should be prioritized for testing, as testing results will impact when they may return to work and for which patients they might be permitted to provide care."
