Patient Services Specialists/Coordinators (specifically on 8S)are being made to come into work, despite the fact that they have been successfully working at home since the beginning of the pandemic. COVID-19 screening for employees and patients coming into the office is limited to a few questions, with no real screening of symptoms. Staff who work directly with patients on 8S are not wearing gloves, nor is there a protective barrier. Office staff who don't interact with patients are at risk of being exposed and are not provided with personal protective equipment but can't continue to work from home. We are harassed for wearing our own respiratory protection and told it's not needed. There have been patients and coworkers who have tested positive for COVID 19 and others who work around them have not been told, or provided testing. Why are we not able to continue to work from home for everyone's safety?Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2020-07-16
