1.The employer failed to assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). If such hazards are present, employees may be exposed to potential hazards such as when they come into contact with COVID-19 positive person(s). 29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i-iii) [Refer to 12-60-50(a), HAR] Location: All resident care unit 2. Employees were exposed to unsanitary condition due to uncleanliness of commonly used areas such as residents care unit and bathroom. 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1) [Refer to 12-60-50(a), HAR]. Location: COVID related section of care home.
