The employer has not developed an effective plan to address the specific exposure risks, sources of exposure, routes of transmission and other unique characteristics of COVID-19. The plan should focus on engineering controls, administrative controls, work practice controls and personal protective equipment. Such as but not limited to: 1. The employer is not following the CDC recommendations to protect employees. 2. The employer is not following State, and local safety requirements to protect employees. 3. The employer is not providing sanitary/good housekeeping processes, social distancing processes, or PPE as necessary for employee safety and to reduce exposure. a. Employees are purchasing their own mask, gloves and sanitizing wipes, because the management does not have PPE available. Employees are being asked to move COVID-19 patients without providing PPE exposing them to the virus. b. Employer is not cleaning the carpet and sanitizing the building. 4. The employer is not communicating adequate information to ensure employees understand and adhere to safe work practices. Employer is not notifying employees who worked in close proximity to the infected employee and patients that they may have been exposed. 5. The employer is allowing employees that have tested positive for COVID-19 to work without providing additional precautions to protect them. 6. Employer is threaten their employee to write up and get rid of them if complaint about COVID-19.
