As it pertains to COVID-19, the employer is not providing a safe workplace as follows: 1. There have been 6 employees who have tested positive for COVID-19. The employer has not permitted contact tracing, has never informed employees who may have had close contact, nor assured that the workplace was cleaned. 2. When any of the employees call-in to report that they are being tested due to being exposed or having symptoms, the plant manager permits the employees to return to work until their test results come back. 3. The first employee who had tested positive for COVID-19 was allowed back into the workplace prior to completing a 14 day quarantine. 4. The employer is not assuring that employee temperatures are taken. 5. The use of a mask in the workplace is optional.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2020-10-16
