There has been a recent outbreak of covid cases inside this facility. There are hundreds of people per shift. Management is attempting to down play and minimize contact tracing of those who are currently infected. It is believed that there are many more unreported cases among employees, many of which have had direct contact with someone who currently tested positive, and management has not told them not to worry and that they will be fine. They limit contact tracing in efforts to limit the number of their workforce who will be out of work at one time. Most people are afraid to come forward as having symptoms because if they test positive on their own or report their symptoms during their pre-shift screening, they will not be paid for time missed. The only way they pay for off time for covid is if you test positive after they send you through contact tracing; another reason they limit their tracing and the main reason people are coming to work sick. Coughing can be heard throughout the plant, including break rooms where masks are not worn. Most people wear face shields instead of masks, including the current positive cases.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2020-09-25
