Texoma medical center sent an email to all emergency room physicians that they were not allowed to wear masks or personal protective equipment during the corona virus pandemic. What reason(s) did your employer give for the adverse action(s) : They cited patient complaints that doctors were wearing masks. They also stated they were concerned about the cost of providing masks. Is there anything that you would like OSHA to know about what happened? Texoma medical center threatening physicians about protecting themselves during a pandemic is unethical and dangerous to the health of the physicians. COVID-19 The employer has not developed an effective plan to address the specific exposure risks, sources of exposure, routes of transmission and other unique characteristics of SARS-CoV-2. The plan should focus on engineering controls, administrative controls, work practice controls and personal protective equipment.Alleged Hazards: 3, Employees Exposed: 20
