An employee was informed that they had a direct exposure to a COVID-19 positive patient during the execution of their job duties. The employee was told that because they were asymptomatic and did not have a positive test result, they could return to work at their discretion, in clear violation of CDC and Barry-Eaton County COVID-19 quarantine guidelines. 2. An employee was told to report to work after direct exposure to 2 COVID positive patients in previous couple of days. Employee then reported to work then went home sick. 3. An employee who was out sick with COVID related symptoms (fever, migraine, vomiting) was told by a human resources representative to return to work without being symptom free for at least 72 hours. Employee showed up to work with symptoms, and has not been further screen for COVID-19. 4. When employees address concerns with supervisors/administrative staff about complying with CDC guidelines, employees fear retribution or often don't have questions addressed/answered leaving employees feeling unsafe in current work environment. 5. There have been 4 healthcare providers in the Lansing location out of office the past week with suspected exposure to COVID-19, and one having direct exposure to COVID-19.
