1. It is believed that regarding COVID-19, the mask protocol is not being implemented or enforced properly. The employer's current policy states that employees can remove their masks if they are alone at their work station and 6 feet from other people. Employees are to put on the mask if they leave the work station or if someone approaches them at their work station. Some of the work areas are enclosed and often employees are within 2-4 feet of each other talking without their masks on. Other personnel frequent such work areas throughout the day, and many are not wearing their masks properly and/or they remove them to talk. On the shop floor, most employees are not wearing masks because they are "at their work station." Employees within 6 feet of each other on the shop floor are often talking to each other while not wearing a mask and if one is worn it is worn improperly. It is impossible to consistently maintain 6 feet anywhere on the shop floor. Such conditions have been observed by the employer, but nothing is said. 2. There is shared equipment that is moved around a lot. There is no sanitizing of this equipment between uses. 3. There has been 2 positive COVID-19 cases (traced to personal time exposure) and 8 others quarantined because of said 2 cases.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2020-10-21
