Hazard Description: Employee alleges that employer is not following CDC requirements for COVID-19 positive patients by leaving patient doors open which further exposes staff to COVID-19 on the 5th floor of the West Wing. Employee alleges they are being told the doors need to be left open in order to maintain a negative pressure environment. Additionally, employee is concerned that staff do not have a separate break area from this location. Employee alleges that employer is not ensuring the proper donning/doffing of Personal Protective Equipment while caring for COVID-19 positive patients through training. Location: 5th Floor of West Wing. Second employee complaint alleges that the employer does not have a sufficient health screening process for employees, prior to the commencement of work. . The employee alleges that employees do not take their temperatures like they should be and there is no longer oversight of this process by the employer.
