1. An employee was recently sent to the hospital after expressing that they were not feeling well and was diagnosed with carbon monoxide poisoning. The employee had been driving a work truck that had an exhaust leak in the turbo of the engine compartment and noted the issues on their daily walkaround paperwork. 2. The employer is requiring employees to continue operating trucks that have been noted to have mechanical issues and are against DOT regulations to operate, such as disconnected ABS or grounding that does not work when hooking up to vapor lines, potentially exposing employees to serious physical injuries or death from accidents. 3.
