T8 CCR 5199 On 6/20/2020 attending physician did not show up for work. When asked where the physician was another employee made a gesture to be quiet. Was told by office staff had some kind of stomach bug. On 6/24/2020 office manager announced that the physician had tested positive for COVID-19. Several office staff was present during the announcement. Thinks physician may have taken a COVID test 6/20/2020 or 6/21/2020. May have exposed the office staff as well as patients. Hazard Location: 590 West Putnam Ave., Porterville, CA 93257 Notes: Complainant stated the clinic tested the employees for the virus, however were not given the results. Tests were administered by someone not qualified to give them. Complainant had his own test done and tested positive. Complainant became sick and was off work for three weeks. He was only paid for two weeks of workman's comp. Complainant states that three other employees also tested positive as well as other employees in different medical suites. Stated that the physician treated patients even though he tested positive and that they had a pot luck gathering even though he tested positive.
