This facility is forcing employees who are on light duty and reassignment to be in one room with anywhere from 10 to 25 people for the duration of their 8 hour shift. At times there is no way to practice social distancing to lessen the spread of Covid-19 because there are so many people in the room at one time. These employees are not currently in a position to care for individuals due to being on reassignment or light duty due to an injury or medical condition and I feel as though there is no need for them to be sitting together in a room filing papers all day while there is a pandemic going on and the risk of spreading Covid-19 is so great. Also, there are employees who have tested positive for Covid-19 and had contact with everyone in the room before finding out they were positive, which is a risk to everyone's health and safety and not conducive to the containing the spread of Covid-19. There is a stay at home advisory going on currently and I feel that if the employee is not able to do their job due to reassignment or light duty, they should be allowed to stay at home.
