Safety Report: Covid-19 OSHA Complaint, Food Bank of the Albemarle, 109 Tidewater Way, ELIZABETH CITY, NC, 27909, USA

3 years ago business

Regulatory Report

109 Tidewater Way, Elizabeth City, 27909 North Carolina, United States

Management recently hid the fact that an employee had a positive COVID-19 test. The employee was told to go home after their test came back positive and then the management told the entire staff the employee was out with strep throat. No further precautions were taken and many staff and volunteers had been in contact with this person without being fully informed. The management has made a conscious effort to cover this up and not warn anyone who works at the food bank. There are at least 30 people at all times working in the warehouse not counting volunteers.
