1. Employees in the chop room are exposed to airborne chemicals and dust from the fiberglass & resin when making the hot tubs. They do not have respirators. 2. Employees on the main line are exposed to dust and chemicals when they drill holes for jets. They do not have respirators. 3. Employees in the chop room and main line are exposed to eye hazards and do not wear safety glasses. 4. Employees in the chop room and main line are exposed to impact hazards in that the forklifts do not have working back up alarms. 5. The water supplied to the bathroom sinks and other hand washing areas has a bad smell and is grey in color. 6. After a large tub or swim spa is molded the mold is flipped with straps during the second shift usually around 4:30pm. The mold is put into a steel cart to be fiber glassed. One employee is positioned under the cart to set the sides so they don't fold in when fiberglass is applied. The employee is exposed to a crushing hazard when a forklift is later used to lift up the unit while the employee is under the suspended load applying tubes. The tubs or spas can which weigh up to 350 pounds. 7. The shelving in the building is over stacked especially between the press and also the chop room (fiberglass room). 8. The main air lines that go from the air compressors to the designated areas are PVC pipe and they keep blowing apart someone is going to get hurt if it happens at the right time. 9. Employees do not wear facial coverings when they have to work close to each other and are exposed to the potential transmission of Covid-19.
