1. For the COVID-19 response plan, the University has mandated that the Public Safety employees are required to interact and check the temperature of all personnel entering the University. 2. Employees have to get closer than 6 ft to take a forehead temperature using the thermal thermometer. 3. Proper personal protective equipment necessary to ensure employee safety has not been provided. 4. At the entrance to the University where the screening takes place, there is no wash station or bathroom available for employees to decontaminate themselves if coughed or sneezed on. 5. Hand sanitizer, an ample supply of gloves and face shields have not been provided. 6. The employees only received one paper face mask and one set of rubber gloves for an eight hour shift. 7. PPE supplies run out on the weekend and there are no gloves or masks for employees at all. 8. The only cleaning supply the University has provided is paper towels and a cleaning spray solution that is only safe for surfaces, not human skin.
