1. The employer has not monitored the work environment to determine employee exposure during the lithium-ion battery degassing processes. T8 CCR 5155(e)(1) 2. The employer has not implemented a respiratory protection program for employees required to wear respirators. The employer has not implemented medical evaluations, fit tests, or training for employees required to use respirators. T8 CCR 5144(c)(1) 3. The employer has not maintained Safety Data Sheets complying with the required elements in T8 CCR 5194(g)(2) for in-house solvents used on site. T8 CCR 5194(g)(8) 4. The employer has not provided employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work areas. T8 CCR 5194(h)(1) 5. Plumbed eyewash and shower equipment do not meet performance requirements. The eyewash does not provide a steady and continuous supply of water, and the shower is connected to water heated above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. T8 CCR 5162(d) 6. Employees exposed to flammable and corrosive chemicals are not provided with flame resistant lab coats with chemical splash protection. T8 CCR 3383(a) 7. Employees working near the battery testers are exposed to unguarded energized capacitor terminals. T8 CCR 3524.2(b) 8. The employer has not addressed the hazard posed by exposed wires behind equipment used in the lab area and warehouse. T8 CCR 2473.1 9. The employer did not evaluate the hazard posed by an electrical junction box adjacent to a fume hood containing flammable materials. T8 CCR 3203(a)(4) & 5530(a) 10. The mechanically driven exhaust for the fume hoods is not securely mounted to the roof. T8 5142(b)(1) 11. Employees working closer than 6 feet from each other in the lab area and in the cubicles are not required to wear face coverings to address the hazard posed by COVID-19. T8 CCR 3203(a)(6)
