Regulatory Report

Covid-19 OSHA Complaint, UPS Freight, 3747 W. Morris St, INDIANAPOLIS, IN, 46201, USA

5 years ago business

3747 West Morris Street, Indianapolis, 46241 Indiana, United States

This terminal has had several employees with Covid-19. The most recent incident of a positive case was September 24, 2020. It was not until September 28th that a few of the employees learned about the positive case. And they only learned of it through word of mouth. When someone approached terminal management to inquire, the manager said "we aren't supposed to talk about it". Further, with this most recent case of Covid-19 at this terminal, the truck that the infected employee drove was not put out of service until the 29th of September. Other employees have driven that truck in the meantime. Also, while there is a mask mandate, it is not being enforced at this terminal. There are some employees not wearing masks. Cleanliness at this terminal even before Covid-19 has not been good, especially in the men's restrooms. There is often overflowing toilets, walls stained with feces, floors full of urine. The full and overflowing toilets are left for days before getting cleaned up. Back to the Covid-19 cases at this terminal. There is no attempt at implementing quarantine for the other employees who had contact with the infected employee. And for there to be no informing to the employees of cases of Covid-19 among the terminal, it is wrong and it causes unneeded risks for those employees who were working with the infected worker.
